Brad and Michelle’s wedding was one of those weddings that really just sticks out in my mind. It was a beautiful Fall day almost 4 years ago. We had just moved to Kentucky, and I was constantly inspired by it’s landscape. Their wedding was filled with so much beauty and emotion, and I was just feeling inspired. I took one of my favorite photos to date, one that still appears on my website and many people comment that it is their favorite as well.
Well fast forward 4 years and they are expecting their first child! How amazing is that? I was able to be there as they started their journey together. I saw Michelle walk down that aisle, and Brad tear up at the sight of his beautiful bride. I felt the love that was palpable that day as family and friends gathered to witness and support the joining of these two beautiful souls. And now, now I was able to document the start of a new chapter in their life. It was amazing to see Michelle’s belly and both of their faces light up when they talked about their little one. I am so happy for them, and feel so blessed to have been able to witness their journey unfolding through the years.
Michelle and Brad decided to do their photos at Michler’s Greenhouse in Lexington. It is right by their house and they like to walk by it and stop in for little plants here in there, so it has a nice personal touch. The other lovely thing about it was the idea that they mentioned of mirroring the growth of a new little person in Michelle with a greenhouse where life is growing and bursting forth.
