Q : Why do you do what you do?
A : In life there are many beautiful things that go on around us all the time, things that we often don’t see. A favorite quote of mine says, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” A funny thing for a photographer to quote, but what I hope to do is capture those beautiful things in a camera in a way that makes the invisible just a little more visible. My hope is that the images I create could stir an emotion. And that the things like love, joy, devotion, adoration and closeness would somehow come across through the photographs that I create.
It may sound funny but in a way I strive to be a visual poet. T.S Elliot said, “Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.” There is something in poetry that speaks to the human soul in a way that you almost can’t describe. I think that a good photograph can speak like a poem and I suppose that is the thing for which I strive. I hope to share something with the world that is beautiful and meaningful.

Q : Do you travel for weddings?

Q : What can I expect from my family photo session?
A : These sessions are a lot of fun. I love going to places that are special to families, parks that you always go to, hanging out a museum for the afternoon, and one of my personal favorites, being in your home. The most important thing to remember from these sessions is to be yourself and let your family be themselves! If there are tears, that’s okay, if there are scraped knees, to me it just makes the photos more authentic. Bring your true self to our photo session and we will make photos that you will cherish for many years to come!
Q : I’m excited to work with you, what next?
